La cosa più importante non è la vittoria, ma non essere sconfitti -Rickson Gracie-

Rickson Gracie's participation in this video is in support of the Rockson Gracie Foundation. The Rockson Gracie Foundation was created in 2011, in memory of Rockson, grandson of Helio Gracie, the founder of Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu. Rockson, a champion like his father, Rickson, was a beloved member of a pioneering family. The non-profit organization honors Rockson by bringing Jiu-Jitsu to disadvantaged boys and girls. The mission of the Foundation is to reach youngsters who will benefit most from the Jiu-Jitsu way of life: inner city kids tempted by the allure of gangs and drugs, who, by taking another path, will gain self-esteem through the structured martial arts environment. Jiu-Jitsu translates from Japenese to the "Gentle Art," because it uses technique and leverage rather than violence and strength. As students climb the ranks, they carry the "gentle art" philosophy outside of the dojo, internalizing the poise and control necessary to face life's challenges head on. By offering after school programs and training scholarships, the Rockson Gracie Foundation helps underprivileged kids find sanctuary in their Jiu-Jitsu academy: a life long community where students grow to become teachers and role models for future generations.
